Overview
Park Friends was a 12-part education for sustainability radio and internet project back in 2012, with a focus on the work of The Friends of Black Hill and Morialta Inc, a dedicated group of volunteers who give of their time and expertise to conserve areas in the Black Hill, Morialta and Horsnell Gully parks, in the Adelaide Hills to the east of the Adelaide CBD. Park Friends was produced at PBA FM in Adelaide, with funding from the SA Government, through the Department for the Environment and Natural Resources.

Park Friends’ Awards
The Park Friends project was a finalist in the Media Category of the 2012 World Environment Day Awards in Melbourne. Also in 2012, the Friends of Black Hill Morialta Inc gained an Outstanding Achievement Award for their contribution to the Park Friends project, from the Department of Environment Water and Natural Resources, The Government of South Australia.
